Her Vanished Grace has finished their new
album SEE THE MOON. We recorded in August, September and
November of 2010. The new music is deliciously dark, ringing with
lush melodies and jangling memories, swirling with colors. Hear the
ocean! Smell the trees! SEE THE MOON is vivid cinema of warm
dark interiors and cold vast landscapes.

Well Her Vanished Grace released a remix EP
in the spring of 2008 called SATELLITES AT TWILIGHT, consisting
of dancey mixes of HVG songs from 2006's SATELLITES and
2007's TWILIGHTs. The new mixes were done by Charlie and a
special mix of "Glider" was done by The Invisible Kid. Then we went
ahead and recorded our new album BLUE
in August. It's 12 songs that we think are pretty amazing. Charlie
mixed it thoughout the Autumn and we released it in January. It
features awesome cover art by our 7 year old niece Jade Nieland.
Look out for its appearance on various internet radio programs like Air Atlantic Underground, Aurora Radio and Church of Girl Radio on Live 365 and college programs like Machine Age Voodoo at Rutgers WRSU-FM 88.7 FM.

So Her Vanished Grace has made 2 more
albums (we still call them that) in the past two years, SATELLITES in
2006 and TWILIGHT in 2007. Things have been busy.
Besides producing HVG, Charlie
became even more involved in his production work with Super Buddha, most notably
engineering, co-producing and writing the new Debbie Harry CD NECESSARY EVIL. Yet we still rolled
forward
with HVG,
making this period the most prolific in the band's history (4 original
CDs and one remix CD in 4 years). We just really like making stuff
together. Anyway, thanks to everyone who has inspired us and made it
possible to continue.

Well Her Vanished Grace has been having a
good year. We plunged onward in the spring writing and recording
newmaterial for our new fall release GET UP. It's 10 tight and
dreamy tracks of sweet and sour candy. To the point and at once
digressive, these terse and atmospheric pop songs are vivid with color
and toughness. We hooked with some old friends (Apollo Heights,
formerly The Veldt) and made a bunch of new ones.We met Autumn
Thieves and their brainchild The Loveless Music Group on MySpace
and are tickled to have been adopted as one of Loveless' favorite
bands. It seems like there are flood of new and ongoing groups speaking
the same language of atmospheric pop in NYC (and around the world) and
it definitely gives us hope and inspiration.
Some of the best (besides the above mentioned AH and AT)
include: Star, The Year Zero, Unlove, Pink
Turns Blue, Bleep, Glider, blue light curtain,
Hinterland, The Jumblies, Sleepless, Stellarscope,
Project Skyward, Confuse the Cat and many, many
more. Check 'em out (they're all on MySpace).
Anyway, other great things this year included: Arcade Fire FUNERAL
(their Letterman appearance sealed the deal), Bloc
Party SILENT ALARM, Goldfrapp SUPERNATURE and Interpol
and Blonde Redhead at Radio City Music Hall.

This year finds Her Vanished Grace once again
actively performing. The arrival of our new drummer Billy kicked us
into gear. Our new CD, PARADISE, reflects both the
spontaneous energy he brings to the group and the work that Nance,
Charlie and Maria have been doing together since the last HVG
CD, COLORS 1&2. Check out the Songs Page to get a
preview.
Over the past few years we've lost a lot, but we've slowly gained a new
